I don’t watch football. So why am I so freaking excited about the 48th Super Bowl?
Because I found out, ladies and gentlemen, that listening to Bruno croon or better yet, watching him move on stage, could get me quite in the mood. For football!!
This is for Zero to Hero #19.
I love the Super Bowl and cheering for the Broncos! I don’t however like Bruno…LOL
Whaaat?? No, I refuse to believe it, Victoria! ๐
I know, it’s sad isn’t it…LOL
I don’t know Bruno. ???
I like his backdrop for visuals.
I like the brass section.
Choreography is good. ๐
Whaaat?? No, I refuse to believe it, Victoria! I mean, Jim. ๐ How could you not know Bruno Mars???
I’m in for Bruno and the Seahawks! I could, however, do without The Red Hot Chili Peppers ๐ฆ
My sentiments exactly, Granny! Finally, someone who understands music, unlike Jim. Just kidding, Jim!! You know how I feel about you. He and his wife, Melanie, are great blogger friends of mine, Granny. He knows I’m just joking around. ๐
Do you mean I could say “sock”, and he wouldn’t see the connection? I’ll bet you do ๐
Lol…Now that’s scandalous, Granny! With all the money they earn, you’d think they’ll buy proper attire!
Sorry..I’d rather have the Red Hot Chilli Peppers than Bruno Mars!! At least it made the football more interesting for you though ๐
Whaaat??? No, I refuse to believe it, Elaine! You probably just like them for the “socks.” ๐
Hmmmmmm…..I was thinking about the music myself but now that you’ve triggered that memory….๐
Yes, the half-time show is the only reason to watch the the Super Bowl. Don’t tell hubby I said this, Angie. ๐
Let us not forget the BEST part about a SuperBowl party – amazing munchies! ๐ I bet your house will be full of delicious goodies.
Best – Shanna
Oh yeah, I’m definitely stocking up! Maybe I’ll even make wings. Hubby will love that! I even love watching the commercials, Shanna. The game is just garnish! Lol…
Commercials, yes. Game, no. Wings, yes. ๐

I’m not into American football, either. I don’t even live in the US. But my husband is from the States and so I will watch my first Superbowl finals, tonight. – And yes, Bruno Mars as well as the Red Hot Chili Peppers are a very good reason, too!
Hi Stefanie, so nice meeting you. Hubby tried to get me to like football and baseball. Even took me to live games, but I’m partial to tennis and some of the more “girly” sports like gymnastics and figure skating. I do, however, enjoy basketball, especially if my alma mater plays. But Bruno Mars makes all the difference this time. I’ll be glued to the TV, hoping not to miss anything. The commercials too! ๐
Nice meeting you, too!
(I saw you in Arthur’s comment thread)
Here in Germany we are more into European football – or, like you call it: soccer. I’m all for that when it comes to international championships. Occasionally handball when I come accross a good game. When I was in Ireland I also started to like Rugby, although I probably will never fully get the rules. My husband likes Baseball, too.
Tonight (and it will be NIGHT, here) I will give US football a chance – and hopefully we will be able to see some of the commercials, too. I’ve seen the VW spot on the internet and laughed my head off.
Enjoy the game and Bruno’s hip swing! ๐
Lol…I think that was how I got so taken in, it’s that hip swinging. Never seen anything like it since Michael Jackson’s! Thanks, Stefanie, enjoy the night! XOXO
