Hello, fun-loving, fantastic, fabulous Fiesta Friday friends! It’s the first fiesta for 2015! Are you as stoked as I am? You’d better be. I have Mr Fitz @CookingwithMrFitz and Kaila @GF Life 24/7 as my co-hosts! And you know what they say. Ain’t no fiesta like a Fitz & Kaila fiesta ‘coz a Fitz & Kaila fiesta don’t stop! I’d say we’re starting the new year the proper way. It feels happening already over here. You had better join us soon!
And if you were here last week, you’d know how impressive all the contributions to the party were. If not, just take a look at the sampling.

Egg Curry, Dhaba Style from Sonal @simplyvegetarian777.
I was completely bowled over by Sonal’s egg curry and her photos. First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever had eggs in curry before. The idea is totally intriguing. And how astoundingly beautiful are her food photos! I think she should give us all a lesson, don’t you think? Not just in curry-making, but in photography as well. I call for an online class!

Panettone Pancakes from Claudia @The Breakfast Drama Queen
Panettone Pancakes…..whaaat?! How could panettone be made into pancakes?! This warrants further investigation. Seriously, it’s such a clever idea. Pancakes are so much easier to make than panettones, and if there was a recipe for pancakes that makes them taste like panettones, I’d totally make them. And…..voila! Here it is, hurray! Thank you for this, Claudia. I may never have to buy panettones ever again!
Tourtière from Johanne @French Gardener Dishes
Mr Fitz helped me select this entry. In his words, “What a wonderful pie to share with family! And how happy does that lady look?”
The only two meat pies I’ve ever had in my life are chicken pot pie and shepherd’s pie. Tourtière, or any other kind of pork pie is something I have yet to experience. It sounds so deliciously satisfying. The unique addition of cinnamon, ground cloves and allspice makes it even more enticing. Needless to say, this one is bookmarked for future reference.

Peanut Butter Cup Trees from Julie @HostessAtHeart.
This is such a simple idea it’s brilliant! This is the hubs’ dream come true, times five! Geddit? 5 Reese’s peanut butter cups all stacked up to make a miniature Christmas tree! So festive-looking, so easy to make! Did I mention how brilliant this is?

You know I spotted that egg curry a mile off, it reminds me of school. I am one of those odd people that actually liked my school food and they did egg curry and my mum and I used to go for egg curry down the Kings Road in london, they had the Chelsea Kitchens, I think it is shut now, so will defintely try this one 🙂 xxx
That egg curry caught my attention right away, too. And to think I didn’t even like hard-boiled eggs when I was small. Now I eat them all the time! See, you’re not the only odd one around here 😀
haha we are both odd but we knew that right? 😛
Happy New Year- I was wondering what I could wish you, but I guess I just say it like I said to all my blogger friends- I wish you all you need 🙂 and thank you for making my days on many occasions when I was reading your posts. Beautiful Fiesta as always xx
Likewise, Marta! I wish you and your family all the best for the new year. Here’s to another fabulous blogging year for all of us! Cheers! XOXO
