Is there any reason to make homemade pasta when you live in Italian land aka Philly suburbs and 99% of your friends are Italian and when you go over, they feed you Italian and when you go out, you eat, what else, Italian, since the best restaurants in town offer Italian food and frankly, who can get tired of Italian food? No, there isn’t. Wait, what was the question again?

inYou have to go to simplyvegetarian777 to check it out. Especially you, Patty! Something is waiting for you.
This is my first try at guest posting or guest blogging. I’m not even sure what the correct terminology is. And I definitely don’t know the proper etiquette on how to do this correctly.
It’s supposed to be a win-win situation for both bloggers. Cool-cool! Win-win is always the best way to go. My guess is that it’s a win for me because I get to be introduced to the host blog’s followers. But how is it a win for the host blog?
I’m thinking if I let my followers know about it and kindly ask them to check it out, then it’ll be a win for her/him, too. So, kindly check it out. Go to Sonal’s site. Besides, the recipe is there.
Incidentally, I was asked to guest blog a couple of times before. Having never done it and not fully understanding what it entailed, I had not followed through with the requests. To those bloggers who asked, I apologize. If you’re still interested, please let me know.

BY THE NOVICE GARDENER
It’s another snowy day
Keeping the sun at bay
Seems that dreary gray
Is long here to stay
Chasing my blues away
Island dreaming all day
Zero to Hero lucky day 21 for me. The challenge has us drafting a post, expanding on the new-to-you format post published for #19, where I talked about Bruno Mars in an aside.
Well, Bruno is from Hawaii, and Hawaii is an island. And I’ve been island dreaming all day long. I’d say I’d fulfilled the assignment, don’t you think?
The lucky part comes from the Weekly Writing Challenge that asks that we write a short post a la Frank O’Hara’s Lunch Poems. So, I’m killing two birds with one stone. One post for 2 challenges. Sometimes, you just get lucky.
