We have survived 100 Fiesta Fridays, you and I! Yes, it’s hard to believe we’ve been fiesta-ing together for that long! And even harder to believe, we still like each other! Which goes to show what kind of people we have at Fiesta Friday. Quality people. GOOD quality people!
So, to honor you, you, you, you, you (times 100 more), I made you a special cake. A Fiesta Friday Anniversary Cake! It’s for you!
To all my friends here @TheNoviceGardener, who haven’t joined the party, I’m inviting you to join the weekly fun @ FiestaFriday.net. Tomorrow we will unveil The Best Of Fiesta Friday #100!
That cake is just brilliant! Perfect to celebrate the 100 fiestas!! Those doughnuts are adorable!! The idea to incorporate the grapes is such a cool idea Angie!! It’s just so chic and Classic at the same time!
Aaw…thank you! I’ll put up the easy recipe for the donuts one of these days. The grapes are a New Year’s Eve thing for us so I already had them around. It’s nice when everything falls into place 🙂
😀😀
What a perfect cake to celebrate 100 fiestas, Angie! The whole cake from the batter to the doughnuts is awesome and the grapes take it to a whole new level! Love them.
Thanks! I’m so glad you like the cake. It’s for you 🙂
Yum! Thank you Angie!
Also wanted to add that if you need help co hosting just give me a holler. I have never co hosted so am a complete novice but am willing to learn:)
Thanks for the offer, Sandhya. We can definitely use your help. Let me know what weeks are good for you and I’ll put you down. It doesn’t require any learning curve, just lots of time set aside. 🙂
Angie, Weeks of January 24th, Feb 7th and 21st look better than others. I would love to help and will do my best.
How do you do it?? you seem to me to lead a busy life but you can still produce something so amazing!!!
I had plenty of time during the Christmas break. I even slept a lot 😀 But the cake itself was pretty easy to make. Everything can be made ahead of time the day before prior to assembling. Give it a try! Maybe you can sub the sugar with stevia?
I’m glad you got lots of rest 🙂
I probably just leave the sugar out! I’m not a fan of the substitutes either x
Reblogged this on Chef Ceaser.
best cake ever! Love the styling – bet it tastes incredible.
Wow, now THAT is a cake worthy of a 100th celebration! The mini doughnuts are adorable.
Thank you!! The mini donuts were easy and fun to make. I’m glad you like them! XOXO
Imagine. Cake and donut in the same bite. Forget ambrosia. This is the food of the gods. Well done, Angie, both for this cake and for 100 Fiesta Fridays. That’s quite the milestone. Congrats.
Thanks so much, John! That’s so nice of you to say. I hope you’ll join Fiesta Friday one of these days 😉😉
