This is the last and final version of this page. At least that’s what my fickle mind has decided, today. Tomorrow may be a different story.

In case you’re wondering, there’s such a thing as an accidental blog. You are reading one. Let’s just say that this blog was started because I needed and wanted to test what would happen when I hit the publish button. The unintended consequences of that first published post were just beyond my limited knowledge of the blogging world at the time.

No regrets, mind you. I’m actually enjoying the journey so far. Journey to what, I don’t know yet. Because it started as an accidental blog, it’s continually evolving, with no foreseeable future.

It was at first supposed to be a journal to showcase plants and weeds in my garden, hence the name. Then, when the garden ceased to be a source of joy, another hobby took center stage, and the blog became more about food.

Then, after writing dozens of posts, I discovered the joy of photography and re-discovered the joy of writing and storytelling. Afer all, I hold a degree in journalism, for which a couple of photojournalism classes were prerequisites.

So now in its current phase, this blog is dedicated to all things gardening, cooking, photography as it relates to the first two, and a little storytelling mixed in. That’s what my fickle mind has decided it to be. Today. Tomorrow may be a different story. But tomorrow is a long way from now.
