Bon Voyage to my BFF (Blogger Friend Forever) Fae as she embarks on a 2-month world tour. I will miss her greatly while she’s gone. Her comments have always been some of my most anticipated.
Fae’s generosity in sharing her blogging knowledge is unparalleled. I am fortunate to have been a recipient of that generosity. This, coupled with her gentle encouragement, have proven to be the most motivating factor in my blogging. I owe much of my progress to her, as she continues to be my biggest inspiration. I’m honored to have been asked to write a guest post for her blog.
What a beautiful dish! It must have amazing flavor with all those spices. Great post by the two of you. Best wishes for a great trip, Fae!
Thank you, Shari! I’m so glad I did the post. Now, I have homemade Thai curry paste in my refrigerator! Hmm… the possibilities….
This looks really yummy oh my another one to keep for me. I just made a lamb curry minced tonight from one of your fiestas entries was lovely it’s such a great idea! X
I have to go back and check on that lamb curry. I know what you mean, so many great recipes! So many creative bloggers out there. Are you ready for the A-Z challenge? I’m waiting for Zero to Hero II.
This doesn’t surprise me at all! Angie is like Midas, whatever she touches, turns into gold!
And then Fae and Angie combination can be very powerful :).
Loved the recipe. Thanks for the recipe of red Thai paste.
Have a great and safe trip Fae :).
Aww, that’s so sweet of you, Sonal! I’m not sure I deserve all the accolade. I’m glad you like the recipe, though. XOXO
Love you guys 😍 what a great partnership xx
Love you, too, Elaine! XOXO
😀 xx
Angie! You made red curry from scratch?! You have been officially invited to be an honorary member of my family. You would be a good Asian…not a bad one who cheats on Tom Yum Goong!
If I knew that was the ticket to joining the Noony clan, I would have done it sooner. 🙂 Oh, yah, I remember the Tom Yum cheat, except I thought you were pretty smart actually. Still do. Making things from scratch is overrated. I only do it for the blog. Hahaha…
Hahaha you crack me up, Angie! As long as we are being honest, I only came up with such a creative tart idea because of the blog. 🙂
This gets my mouth watering! I bet I would enjoy it! I need to branch out more with lamb. I tend to fry them up and use mint jelly, like my Mom used to! I would love a spicy dish to add to my repertoire. Bon Voyage, to your friend and I feel your sadness. I hope you will both stay in touch, via emails. I read the Six Monthers’ blog, globaltraveler1 I think is Mike Lince’s posts. But he is still able to find all over the world, in their six months in one location, then by moving on, Wi-Fi and he still blogs, too. I hope for the best for Fae! Smiles, Robin
Thanks, Robin! Fae and I have been able to stay in touch via emails, thank goodness. She was in India, now Singapore. Very exciting to just hear about where she goes. It’s like playing that game “Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?” except Fae in not like Carmen, of course. She is the opposite! 🙂
I remember that show and the reference makes me think of my kids and how they loved that show! I like the idea of your keeping track of her and keeping us posted of her whereabouts! Smiles and hugs to Fae and you, too!
Lamp chops and curry sauce! Two of my favorite things. =] Haven’t tried making a curry yet but I absolutely have to do it now. Loved your post on Fae’s blog–thanks for sharing both your writing and culinary talents with us!
I wonder, do your kids like cooking? Clearly they’re eating well!
Just came across your comment NOW, how did that happen? My daughter is somewhat interested in cooking, but my son couldn’t care less, much like his dad. Like father, like son. Lol.
My Adorable Angie, Carmen Sandiego is now back home and started blogging again.
Thank you again, for such a warm send off. I am willing and ready to participate in whatever you think I am able for. Hugs, Fae.
